it is Paul's sister's wedding day
lets go by the lake
set up the wooden tables
order the white cake
it is a calm afternoon
the sun is mellow on the water
white chairs and a white dress
the smell of fresh air and perfume
after the ceremony we dance
old and young alike
the salsa band is swinging
everyone's arms are in the air
the next day the wedding is over
the guests return to their homes
the fathers are allowed to rest
and the mothers take a long nap
