i spent too much time in the sun
the sun streamers
wrapped themselves around my top layer of skin
multiple times
and now my skin is pink
pink pink pink
as a tenderloin steak
pink pink pink
like bubalicious bubble gum.
my legs are aching
lower back a bit stiff
i was dragged behind a boat
slapped against the water
at a bent u angle
crazy, really.
i am content
with a crispy and aching body
as the hummingbird still flutters
so does my heart for life
