For years she was my partner
in crime and everything else
but we stacked up so many problems
it eventually broke the shelf
repairs would not work
there was no storage space
she wanted to move out
i wanted to stay
she stayed in the house and I moved out
after much contemplation
i spread my things on a new empty floor
then built fifty shelves
I called to ask if she needed storage space
